Screen-printing is a method of embellishment that puts ink directly on a fabric surface. It’s cost effectiveness makes it best suited for less expensive shirts.  Screen-printing is also needed when the logo or artwork that is being applied has a high degree of detail.

Casual’s screen-printing process is the best in the industry! We use the latest and most durable inks. It is safe to say that the printed images will outlast the life expectancy of any of the items we sell.

Although it is economical to use, it can be very effective on even the most expensive of items.  Often the amount of information, or the design itself, is too complex for embroidery.

Customers can often have misconceptions as to the quality or look of screen-printing.  Many times it is the best solution and you should call us for more information when deciding on your custom screening job.

We currently print up to 12 separate colors on a single logo. 

Screen Printing Setup

There are two types of screen-print set up; direct separation and process separation.  Separation refers to the process of separating the artwork into individual color components (referred to as “spot color”).

Direct separation or “spot color” is the process where separate films for each ink color are pieced together like a puzzle. Each film represents a single ink color that goes into a designated location in the design.

Process separation or “4 color process” takes place when the colors: cyan, magenta, yellow, and black ink, are blended on the shirt to create a vast number of colors and shades. This is achieved in screen printing by using half tone dots.

Half tones dots can be used on Spot color designs to achieve a multi color look at a more economical price. This is done by using percentages of the colors you are already using. 100% black and 50% black look very different from each other.

Dark color garments requires different separation due to the shirt’s color and ink mixing, for example navy blue, become an integral part of the design itself.

Our t shirts are factory direct, our competitive prices are due to the quantities that we order. We keep stock of all the t shirts and custom shirts in our warehouse for faster service. The wet printed t shirts are heat dried and folded, then packaged in a box of seventy two. We also offer Tie dye t shirt shirts for custom printing, name designs and custom needs.  We do not offer Blank shirts, only custom made t shirts for your promotional and advertising needs.
